Molly Muffet grew up in a large family of general contractors and teachers, so working with her hands was part of everyday life. From an early age, she learned the basics of construction by installing insulation and drywall, painting, stripping furniture, and cleaning up job sites.

After beginning her career as a theater and English teacher, Molly found her way back to the work she grew up around. In 2017, she turned her love of remodeling, organizing, and creative problem-solving into Muffet Designs.

Molly holds a B.A. from Ohio University and an M.A.T. from Duquesne University. She is a certified professional organizer and holds Becker Decluttering Method certification.

She cares deeply about her community and the environment, and looks for thoughtful ways to reuse, repurpose, and reduce waste while creating homes that are comfortable, functional, and sustainable.
